Knit PDF - Last Minute Mitts and Hat

The name of this knit set --- Last Minute Mitts and Hat -- comes from the production of my book Color By Kristin. The deadline was approaching and I wanted one more fun project to add to the mix. This is what I came up with

A fun textured and bobbled edging decorates both the hat and fingerless mitts. The small Fair Isle patterns are easily memorized and completed before any hat shaping occurs. When completed, simple embroidery brings the hat and mitts to the next level.

This design was originally published in my book Color By Kristin by Sixth and Spring in 2009.

Sizing: Four sizes for both designs for adults and children
Skill Level: For intermediate knitters.
Supplies: Besides a selection of five colors of worsted weight yarn, you will need
a set of 4 double pointed needles in US sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm) for the fingerless mitts plus a circular needle (16") in both sizes for the hat. For embroidery, a blunt-pointed tapestry needle is needed.
