Who would have thought that we all would be carrying around plastic gadgets with flashing images in our pockets, purses, totebags and knitting bags? Well, we all are, aren't we?

The Knit It Felt It Tech Cozy will protect your important tool from splashes (you did know that wool sheds water, right?) and help save it from clumsy drops with nice, thick, felted wool. And on top of all that, they're really cute and really quick to knit.

The Knit It Felt It Tech Cozy pattern includes two versions: a simple version in solid colors or random stripes, and a more challenging (but not too difficult) Fair Isle version. You'll need a pretty button for a closure which will give you a chance to check out that button stash you have been hoarding.

The complete instructions include short knitting articles about Choosing Colors and Fair Isle knitting, and three pages of extra charts for you to customize your cozy.

I used a worsted weight wool yarn for my bags. You MUST USE A WOOL OR WOOL BLEND YARN that is at least 85% wool for the bag to felt. Do not use a superwash yarn as it has been treated NOT TO FELT.

Skill Level: For beginners, especially those new to two-color knitting; includes 11 project photographs, 35 charts, 2 illustrations, and felting instructions. You will need:
For smallest size: Double pointed needles in US sizes 9 (5.5 mm) and 10.5 (6.5 mm).
For three largest sizes: Circular needles 16 (16, 20)" (40 [40, 50] cm) in US sizes 9 (5.5 mm) and 10.5 (6.5 mm).
For all sizes: Stitch marker; tapestry needle; one large button approximately 1.25" to 1.5" (3.2 to 3.8 cm); sewing needle and matching thread.
