Knit PDF - Java Jacket (French Press Cozy)
$5.00 USD
Coffee made in a French Press (aka cafetiere) is my brew of choice. The biggest problem I have is keeping a large pot warm. Our house was built in 1751 and during the winter, the kitchen is chilly in the morning.
As all knitters know, wool is one of the best fibers for insulation and keeping folks warm. Why not knit a little jacket for your French Press? My design is worked back and forth. Different colors of garter stitch are added to the borders and small tabs are knit for closure. When it is all complete, a small bit of duplicate stitch and French knots add an extra touch.
Fits medium (the most popular size - 34 ounce/8 cup) size French Press.
